Bilingual Business / Property Coordinator (Japanese & English)

Melbourne CBD & Inner Suburbs Melbourne VIC, Victoria

Full time

Competitive salary package available depending on experience

About This Position

We are recruiting on behalf of an established organisation with an active and growing presence in Australia. With a portfolio spanning property-related projects and business operations, this role offers the chance to work closely with experienced stakeholders in a bilingual environment and gain practical exposure to the real estate and development sector.

This is not a purely administrative role, and it is not suited to someone looking for a narrow, repetitive function. It is a career-building opportunity for someone who wants to learn how projects, reporting, coordination, and business operations come together in a real commercial environment.

If you are curious about property, comfortable working with numbers, and motivated to grow in a professional bilingual setting, this could be a strong next step.

Job Summary:

A rare opportunity for a bilingual Japanese-English professional to step into the property and development space with an established business operating across Australia. This role is ideal for an early-career to emerging professional who is commercially minded, organised, and ready to build a long-term career in real estate, development, and cross-border business.

What does your next role look like?

In this role, you may be involved in areas such as:
• Supporting business and project coordination across internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting with reporting, documentation, data management, and administrative processes
• Preparing materials, updates, and coordination documents in both Japanese and English
• Supporting discussions related to property, development, operations, or business performance
• Assisting with numerical information, commercial reporting, and related analysis
• Liaising with local and overseas stakeholders in a professional bilingual environment
• Contributing to the smooth progress of projects and day-to-day business operations

This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business, not just sitting on the sidelines.

A little about you

• Business-level communication skills in both Japanese and English
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience
• A genuine interest in property, real estate, development, or commercial projects
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to work across multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Good attention to detail, structure, and follow-through
• Confidence working with documents, reports, and business information
• Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, or commercial data (experience in accounting, finance, reporting, or cashflow-related work will be highly regarded, but is not essential)
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a grounded, professional mindset

Candidates from backgrounds such as the following may be well suited:

• Business coordination or project support
• Corporate planning or business support
• Financial analysis, accounting support, or commercial reporting
• Property, development, leasing, or project coordination
