What does your next role look like?

  • Financial Management: Oversee AR and AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements, offering a comprehensive view of the company’s financial performance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop accurate financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations, keeping the business in line with legal requirements.
  • Process Optimisation: Drive process improvements for more efficient financial operations.
  • Strategic Financial Support: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights that support strategic decisions and business development.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.

A little about you…

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager with comprehensive experience in accounting and finance management, including monthly/annual closing, audits, budgeting, tax filings, and analysis. You’ll be adept at managing a team of four (two AR and two AP staff) with the potential for future expansion. 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in finance roles with a focus on AR/AP and financial reporting.
  • Bilingual Ability: Proficient in both Japanese and English (written and spoken), bridging communication between local and international teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data and offer clear insights.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership in team management and effective communication with senior management.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and a thorough understanding of financial regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and MYOB experience.

Location…

Auburn, Sydney, NSW – Conveniently accessible by public transport, with 60-70% of staff commuting by train.

Working Hour…

Full-time, 38 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:06 PM). Flexibility in working hours may be considered based on individual circumstances.

Salary range…

Up to $100,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications.

Working flexibility…

This is an on-site role, though working hours may be negotiable based on individual needs and business requirements.
