Excellent opportunity for a motivated full stack developer to expand your career within a rapidly expanding start up company.

You will be responsible for developing new applications and web-app functionalities, under IT Management strategy guidelines. 

Applications will be developed with B to B customer in mind, and then progressively deployed to B to C business lines. 

Previous experience in professional services development is a plus.

• Developing front end website architecture
• Designing user interactions on web pages
• Developing back end website applications
• Creating servers and databases for functionality
• Ensuring cross-platform optimisation for mobile phones
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

• Fluent in English (and Japanese – Bonus)
• Degree in Computer Science
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications 

• A qualification in computer science with a focus on software development:
  – Certificate IV in Programming (ICT40515) 
  – Diploma of Software Development (ICT50715),
  – Bachelor’s degree majoring in Software Development
• Demonstrate track record of project achievements within a similar role.
• Have completed online or in-person courses to build your specialisation in one or more programming languages.
