新型コロナの隔離義務、10月14日に廃止へ
9月30日に開催されたオーストラリア連邦・州政府の連絡会議「ナショナル・キャビネット」で、新型コロナウイルス感染者の5日間の自主隔離義務を10月14日に廃止することが決まりました。
連邦政府と州政府が折半で資金を提供しているパンデミック休暇災害給付金（PLDP）は、引き続き隔離が義務付けられている業種にのみ提供されることになります。
ナショナル・キャビネットでは、高齢者介護や障害者介護、先住民医療などの業界の労働者を対象に、給付金の支援を継続することで合意。これらの業種に従事していない新型コロナ感染者への給付金の提供は、10 月13日迄で終了となります。
尚、変更の実施については、州・準州が決定権を持ちます。
