Full time
$90,000-$100,000 + Super
We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Specialist on behalf of a growing consumer-facing business in Melbourne.
This is not a routine desk-based coordination role. It is a practical, high-impact position for someone who understands warehouse execution, external logistics partners, and the operational discipline required to support a growing business.
The company is entering a major growth phase, and logistics is becoming a critical part of that journey. This role will suit someone who can stay close to the field, improve execution standards, support KPI visibility, and help build a more scalable and reliable logistics function.
For the right person, this opportunity also offers genuine growth potential. The role will begin at Specialist level, with the possibility of stepping into a Manager title after probation if performance and leadership potential are clearly demonstrated.
In this role, you will:
• Support inbound and day-to-day logistics operations
• Work closely with external warehouse and transport partners
• Monitor stock movement, delivery performance, and operational flow
• Support KPI management and service level performance
• Help identify issues, improve execution, and lift operational standards on the ground
• Coordinate with internal teams across stores, operations, finance, merchandising, and related functions
• Assist with stock accuracy, discrepancy follow-up, and logistics administration
• Spend regular time on-site at the warehouse to support operational improvement
• Contribute to a growing business through practical problem-solving and continuous improvement
We are looking for a practical, driven, and adaptable logistics professional.
You will likely bring:
• Solid hands-on experience in 3PL and/or warehouse operations
• Strong understanding of operational flow across inbound, outbound, delivery, and stock movement
• Confidence working with external vendors and logistics stakeholders
• Experience supporting or driving process improvement in a logistics environment
• Strong English communication skills in a professional setting
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment
• A willingness to be on-site and stay close to warehouse operations
• A genuine sense of ownership, quality awareness, and care in handling products and processes
The following will be highly regarded:
• Experience in EC fulfilment and/or distribution centre operations
• Retail, FMCG, or consumer goods logistics background
• KPI or SLA monitoring experience
• Exposure to import or customs-related coordination
• Strong Excel skills
• Japanese language ability
• Experience in Kaizen, Lean, or continuous improvement environments
