We have an excellent opportunity for a graduate/student accountant who can assist a principal accountant(s) in the preparation of accounting, tax and financial documents/reports as requested by clients on a part-time basis.
As a graduate/student accountant, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside professionals who will supervise and provide you with full training in the specialised areas of accounting, tax and business advisory.
The applicant needs to be a graduate or in their 2nd/3rd year of studies, display strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese and has a proactive approach to work.
*This role is expected to work overtime to discharge job duties during busy periods.
It is expected that you will work in independently with a high degree of care, diligence and skill reasonably to be expected of a professional and duly qualified person.
Your duties include but is not limited to the following:
The office location is in Melbourne South-Eastern suburb, very close to many options for public transport.
Anytime between 9:30am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday
*approximately 10-20 hours per week plus additional hours of up to 38 hours per week (hours to be discussed and agreed)
This role starts from October to November 2020 (once the hard lockdown is eased)
*Under covid-19 circumstances, working from home is available.
