ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is a global consulting firm and their core business area has been the “highly specialized services by leveraging their expertise in finance, accounting and taxation”.

They have been offering support for their clients’ global strategies consistently and they now offer services related to finance, accounting, taxation, human resources, support for overseas expansion as well as support for corporate management after expansion.


PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • To provide sales/business/administration support to Senior Manager(s) and Melbourne Office.
    Sales Support (80%) + General Office Administration (20%) 


SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Making cold call, telephone for new business opportunities (Mergers & Acquisitions)
  • Support M&A-related service with focus on Finance & Accounting
  • Perform data entry into relevant system
  • Booking accommodations/flights & updating registers
  • Answers and directs telephone calls and provides appropriate information
  • General clerical duties – typing, photocopying, filing, faxing, archiving
  • Other duties as and when directed by Senior Manager(s)
  • Assist Senior Management as required


KEY ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCE & ROLE EXPECTATIONS

  • The ability to pick up the phone, make a cold call and meet with a prospect.
  • Self-motivation is key as must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong written/verbal communication & the ability to tailor your approach based on client needs
  • Self-confidence, high energy levels & comfortable dealing with objections
  • Has had experience dealing with disappointment and adversity
  • Ability to cope with high volume workload
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Keen eye to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
  • Must have strong people/customer service skills
  • Prior experience with B to B Sales or Sales Assistant is preferred
  • Solid MS Office and Computer skills
  • An understanding of Japanese business culture

This role is located in MELBOURNE CBD, and close to many options for public transport.
