Our client is an American Fortune 500 company formed in 2000 that operates global exchanges, clearing houses and provides mortgage technology, data and listing services.

They own exchanges for financial and commodity markets, and operates 12 regulated exchanges and marketplaces.

About Role

The team oversees customer support for Data Derivatives clients.

A significant part of the job is working with clients globally on queries regarding the operation of the company’s products and handling questions about option prices and data. 

The successful candidate will be able to resolve issues creatively by understanding the processes and resources of the company.

Job Tasks

• Learning and mastering the company’s Desktop and Valuation/Data offering
• Monitoring risks to major clients’ integration processes
• Analyzing valuation disputes and troubleshooting technical issues
• Escalating problems to senior support staff, operations, R&D, account managers, product managers
• Handle customer approaches by email, chat and phone calls
• Answering questions from clients regarding options pricing

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or any other quantitative major
• Good command in English and Japanese (Verbal & Written)
• Significant customer service experience and Problem solving skills
• Ability to work both as part of a team & as an individual
• Technical skills
• Interest in global markets
• Experience in global derivatives markets/trading (preferred but not essential)
• Good interpersonal skills with proactive working attitude
• In summers the start time would be 8:00am and in Winters the start time would be 7:00am

Working Hour

Standard office hours are 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day (exclusive of unpaid daily meal break of one hour)
In summers the start time would be 8:00am and in Winters the start time would be 7:00am
