We are looking for a reliable Logistics Coordinator to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. This role responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. 

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Imports and Exports operations
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Local and Interstate transportation
  • Loscam/Chep Pallet & Stock controls
  • Customer Service
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Negotiations with vendors and customers
  • Check vendor’s invoices
  • Create sales invoices
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc…)
  • Such other tasks and responsibilities as required by clients/group companies from time to time.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Good command in English (& Japanese – preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge in inventory control, freight forwarding, logistics and/or supply chain management
  • Significant customer service experience
  • Comfortable performing flexible tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Systematic approach to work with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work within warehouse environment
  • Ability to follow directions closely and take initiative where required.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team & as an individual
  • Excellent Computer skills, including advanced MS excel skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with proactive working attitude.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. (public transportation is available but not convenient)
  • Degree in logistics, supply chain management or warehouse management including a Forklift Truck License. (preferred)

Location

This role is based in Melbourne South-east. (Close to Cheltenham, Mentone, Parkdale)
*Public transportation is available but not convenient at all.

Working Hour

Full-time working hour will be either 1) 7:00-15:30 (1hour lunch break) or 2) 8:00-16:30 (1hour lunch break).
Monday to Friday.

April 2021 (ideally ASAP start)
