About This Position…

Are you a driven individual with a passion for sales and a knack for building strong client relationships? We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our client’s dynamic team in Tullamarine. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to grow the business within the VIC, SA marketplace by identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Our client is a top player in Freight Forwarding, Air and Ocean logistics, Customs Brokerage, and 3PL services. They’re known for delivering innovative solutions to meet a wide range of client needs.

What does your next role look like?

As a Logistics Sales Representative, you’ll help grow the business by promoting and selling logistics services across Victoria and South Australia. Your key responsibilities will include:

• New Business Development: Focus on acquiring new clients and expanding lanes with existing customers.
• Sales Visits: Conduct regular visits to potential and existing clients to explore new opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key customers to achieve business growth targets.
• Quote Management: Obtain and respond to client quotes by liaising with internal teams and overseas offices.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly sales planners, reports, and maintain accurate client records in our EDI system.

A little about you…

To excel in this role, candidates should embody the following attributes:

• Bilingual Skills: Fluency in Japanese and English is essential.
• Industry Experience: 2-3 years in the Freight Forwarding industry is highly preferred.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with an excellent customer service ethic.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales is an advantage but not essential.
• Legal right to work in Australia; own transport preferred

Tullamarine, VIC – Easy access with ample parking.

Working Hour…

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. Flexibility available upon request.

Salary range…

$65,000 – $80,000 per annum plus super.
